Our site does not have the software to have an automatic auction sale BUT there is a way to do it yourself with some ease! It is a BEST OFFER Sale.

do your regular sale set-up, add your pictures....

THEN>
state the minimum amount you will accept for your item.

Decide the starting amount you will start your BEST OFFER sale. State the starting time in which you will accept offers and make sure you tell your buyers to post their offers under your sale topic. State to what day/date (deadline) that you will accept offers. State that On your deadline date you will sell your item to the highest offer as long as it is at least the minimum amount you are willing to take for your item. IF you don't get at least your minimum offer then you can decide to try again on BEST OFFER OR sell it outright...If you decide to then Sell it outright Always sell it above your minimum amount you indicated for the BEST OFFER Sale so people will be willing to make a best offer rather than just wait until the end and take it at the minimum offer set in BEST OFFER.

Does this make sense?

If not post your questions here and we will get this refined.

Thank you!
Liz

Shouldn't people PM their offers to the seller rather than post them under the topic?

no, the idea is for other interested buyers to see the offers on the table and make a better offer in hope's of getting the item. Also if the offers are seen this helps attract other potential buyers to the item and even if they don't make an offer then they will be back to see more of what the seller is selling because now they know that other buyers like what the seller has.

Liz, can anyone use this format or is this just for the people who have stores? Just wondering? Thanks!

You can also run an auction in your thread, also. Set it up with the same parameters as your suggestion, but set a starting price. The buyers then post a bid, then someone else will post a bit higher than their bid, etc etc until the deadline or until 24 hours have passed with no new bids. Just be sure to start your bidding at whatever price you are willing to sell for.
