I had a gastric sleeve done Sept. 1st and have lost 60 lbs and feeling great! Took awhile after surgery to get started again. I am ready to get going. Love the ideal of this site...looks like it has a good start! Good to hear from you Lorna.

Hi Karen, It is a weight loss surgery that is not as hard on your health as a gastric bypass. It is major surgery and is not something to do unless you can't lose weight any other way. I have tried it all and gained all I would lose back and more. So after being extremely overweight for 40 of my 58 yrs, I took drastic measures. You can do a search on the internet if you are interested, there is lots of info on it. PM me if you need any more info.
