Wish Me Luck!

I am doing a "first" for me tomorrow! I have a booth reserved at a local craft fair (that draws tons of people every year) to sell my dolls and get my name out in the area. I have 6 babies ready for the big day and a few crocheted outfits. Even if I don't sell any tomorrow, at least I'll get some exposure and maybe get lucky enough to get a custom order or two. I've never done anything like this, so am a little nervous about it, but actually more excited than nervous! I'll let you all know how it goes if you want to hear about it. Oh, and my hubby and 30 year old son are coming with me to help!

Thanks! I had a great day! What a different experience. I've never done anything like this and didn't know what to expect, but it was awesome! Turnout overall wasn't great this year, but it was mostly steady, and people did so many double-takes when they saw the babies!! It was awesome!! I loved seeing the expressions on all the different faces. Some people were afraid to pick them up, but most did and then didn't want to put them down. I gave out tons of business cards and best of all - SOLD my most expensive baby! I paid $25.00 for the booth for the day, and sold the baby for $200.00, so it was a grand day for me! Hubby stayed with me almost all day and even he had fun with it! I will definitely do this again!

This was the most recent baby I have finished, baby Isabella, born from the Sofie sculpt by Denise Farmer (Bountiful Baby). She was "born" on the 10th of this month, was 22" long and weighed 6.1 lbs. I love the way she came out, and so glad her new Mommy did too!! This is the one that I sold at the fair yesterday.
